You can see the most beautiful view of central Auckland city from Mt. Victoria. You can see an orange-colored night view of Devonport right in front of you, and the night view of Sky Tower and Harbor Bridge across the ocean.

It takes about 25 minutes to get here from the Sky Tower by car. You can also get here on the ferry, which takes about 12 minutes from Queens Wharf, running every 15 to 30 minutes. The ferry runs until later in the evening, and to get from the ferry wharf to the entrance of Mt. Victoria takes about 10 minutes on foot. By continuing to climb up for about another 10 minutes, you will reach the summit.

The gates are locked on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, and cars cannot pass through. However, if you are walking there, the gate is open 24 hours.
