Impressions

The Vancouver Lookout located in the center of downtown, is an observatory located on the topmost floor of the Harbor Center Building. This is the only building-style observatory in Vancouver.

You will arrive at the observatory room by taking the glass elevator. The weather was rainy when I visited for coverage, so I was prepared to have difficulties taking photos due to the water drops on the windows. However, the windows were slanted upside-down triangle shapes, so the water drops did not drip down the windows. Therefore, it is possible to take night view photos in light rain at this observatory.

The insides of the observatory are dull, but there are many chairs that visitors can sit down freely, creating a relaxing environment. There is also a small cafe in the facility.

Note

Tripods are allowed, but it is difficult to bring you camera close to the windows due to the steep windows.
