An imitation Eiffel Tower established on the grounds of the Paris Hotel, half the size of the actual tower. The observatory is 140 meters high, which is about half the height of the Stratosphere Tower, but because it located in central Vegas, the spectacular view from here is quite satisfactory.
It is especially popular to look down at the water show at the Bellagio Hotel from here.
The small observatory can fit only about 50 people at the most. The corner where you can view the water show is so popular, that the guidebooks state that sojourn time here is 30 minutes. (When I visited this observatory on a weekday in October 2016 past 10PM, there was no sojourn time.) A 5-minutes water show is carried out every 30 minutes between 3PM to 7PM, and every 15 minutes between 7PM and 12AM.
The observatory is surrounded by lattice, leaving just about two spots per direction to take photos. The photo spot is a small square about 10cm on all sides, and it is difficult to take night view photos with a DSLR. I would say that using mirrorless may be easier to take photos in this environment.
