Standing 296 meters high with 70 floors, you can overlook a 360 degrees night view from the second tallest building in Japan. Since it is located in the largest sightseeing area in Yokohama, you can view famous tourist attractions such as the Ferris wheel or the Yokohama Bay Bridge.

The night view from here is so beautiful, that it’s almost wasteful not to come here when you are in Yokohama. During autumn when the sky is clear and fresh, you can see Mt. Fuji very well.

The observatory is large, but it may get too crowded on weekends when lots of tourists visit. However, the cue to go up to the observatory isn’t very long.

The Yokohama Bay Bridge’s illumination color changes to blue every 20 minutes and 50 minutes past the hour for a period of 10 minutes.
