Completed in the year 2010, Burj Khalifa is the highest skyscraper in the world (as of 2016). Standing 828 meters above ground, the 160th floor is the topmost floor at 636 meters high.

When you look down at the skyscrapers below, 360 degrees of endless night view spreads around you. However, the Dubai fountain right underneath the skyscraper is vigorless when you view it directly from above, so I recommend viewing the fountain from ground level.

I will be explaining the 2 different types of tickets

*AT THE TOP
You can access the observatory, “AT THE TOP SKY” from the 124th and 125th floor (located 442 meters above ground). You can go back and forth between the indoor and outdoor observatories.

*AT THE TOP SKY
“AT THE TOP SKY” is an indoor lounge located on the 148th floor (555 meters above ground), which opened in November 2014. Children are not allowed in this luxurious environment. Although your time at this lounge is limited to 30 minutes, you can enjoy the night view from the world’s tallest observatory. After your time is up on the 148th floor, this ticket permits you to enjoy “AT THE TOP” on the 124th and 125th floor, which has no time limit.
However, shopping bags, sports bags, back packs, etc. must be stored in the secure baggage Check Room,” but a friend of mine who visited this observatory in 2016 confirmed that he was able to bring in a mid-sized tripod.

Since I visited this observatory in 2011, I only visited “AT THE TOP,” and was allowed to bring a mid-sized tripod. Their official website states, “Personal handbags and purses are allowed. However, shopping bags, sports bags, back packs, etc. must be stored in the secure baggage Check Room,” but a friend of mine who visited this observatory in 2016 confirmed that he was able to bring in a mid-sized tripod.

Entry tickets are available online in 30 minute increments. Tickets for the twilight time periods cost more, and may sell out early. In such cases, you can go up to the observatory by purchasing the Immediate Early Admission ticket at the day ticket booth.
