This is a recommended night view spot for those who does not have the time to go all the way to Rokkosan, but would like to see a larger-scaled night view than the Kobe Port Tower. It takes about 15 minutes by taxi from major Shinkansen stops such as Shin-Kobe Station, or the Sannomiya Station.

It is said that there is a legend about successful love at the Venus Bridge. Couples write their wishes on padlocks called the “lock of oath” and put them on fences, and it is said that their wishes will come true.

These locks of oath used to be placed on the fences of the Venus Bridge, but in December 2004, the city of Kobe constructed a monument to place the locks of oath, which added more enchantment to this night view spot.
