Arc de Triomphe stands 50 meters tall, and you can get to the observatory by climbing 272 very steep steps. A beautiful 360-degree view of Paris can be enjoyed from the observatory, especially the Champs Elysees avenue and the Eiffel Tower.
After purchasing the ticket, there is security check at the entrance of Arc de Triomphe. The use of tripods is prohibited, and there are vertical, skewer-shaped fences. Because of these fences, it is impossible to place a camera on top of the fence, and the Gorilla pod is no use at all.
I inserted the screw hole on the bottom of the camera to the tip of the fence to stabilize the camera, and raised the ISO to 1600.
Since this building does not have an elevator, this may be a difficult spot for the elderly to visit.
