Impressions

(Although the photos are taken from France, I would like to introduce this as Monaco since it is a glorious night view of Monaco.)

The name of the place, “La tetê de chien” means a “head of a dog” in French. The origin of the name comes from the fact that Monaco, overlooked from La tetê de chien, looks like a head of a dog.

You can overlook all of Monaco from here, as well as Nice, Italy and 3 countries out further.

This is a night view spot difficult to get to since you can only get here by car. Since the scenic point is located on a steep hill, you need to visit here during the day. It is also dangerous if you are not wearing comfortable shoes such as sneakers.

The view point is located about 2 to 3 minutes away from the parking lot. The place is easily found during the day, but the scenic point may be hard to locate after sunset because there are no street lights.

Note

There are some narrow roads, so I recommend that you rent a compact car. You also need to bring a flash light since there are no street lights.
